ArticlesState Criminal Records I'm always amazed to see how many criminal offenders live in my own small town. It doesn't really matter where you reside, there ARE criminals in your neck of the woods. That's just life. I constantly heard while growing up that crime was something that happened in big cities and urban environments. Criminal activity was nil in small towns. Ha, yeah right! By the time I hit my teen years, my father, who was in law enforcement, gave me the legit scoop. Crime happens everywhere. Just check your state criminal records online and you'll soon find out. If you honestly believe you can never be a victim of crime simply because you chose to live and/or raise a family in a small town, you're sadly misinformed. We're all potential victims of some sort of crime. The best we can do is stay informed and be aware of our surroundings. |
